Message From the President

The LA Southeast Panthers formerly known as the LA Sheriff’s Parent Association was originally formed in 1972. It is one of the oldest youth tackle football & cheerleading programs in the South-Central Los Angeles/Watts & Compton areas.

Our vision for LA Southeast Panthers is to create solid sports, mentoring and nutrition programs for youth in our community. The focus of our programs is to teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that our youth can use daily.

LA Southeast Panthers seek to provide fun athletic and learning opportunities for our children, while emphasizing the importance of academic success. We strive to instill life-long values for our youth regardless of race, creed or national origin, to embrace education, physical fitness, respect, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude.

Every day is an opportunity for our youth, parents and volunteers to grow by projecting good character, self-esteem, a positive attitude while creating a close-net family environment.

We strive to overcome obstacles and challenges and understand hard work and patience!
